The Quabbin Valley Baseball League (QVBL) is excited to announce that the league’s 3rd annual group outing at the Springfield Thunderbirds game will be taking place on Wednesday February 18th as they take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The game time is slated for 7 PM.

In a league first, the outing will be taking place on a weekday and during school vacation week to have league members be able to enjoy the night with their families. All members and families will be seated together with a chance for some to head down on the ice during an intermission to throw t-shirts into the crowd. The league will also have a table on the concourse for sign-ups for the 2026 season.

The Quabbin Valley Baseball League (QVBL), entering its 30th season of operation, is excited to announce that it will be expanding its league schedule from 15 to 16 games for the upcoming 2026 season. The measure was unanimously approved by the league board back at the November meeting and officially put on the books at the January meeting held on January 11th.

More information about how and when the additional 16th game will be scheduled will be announced at a later date.
